The biggest selling cookie in the world is the Oreo, with total sales in excess of 500 billion since its introduction in the US in 1912. Now a favourite in markets across the world, if every Oreo ever made were to be stacked on top of each other the pile would reach to the Moon and back more than six times. Originally manufacturer in New York by Nabisco, the Oreo brand is currently owned by Kraft who have made the biscuit the number one bestseller in China by reducing the sugar content in keeping with Chinese tastes.
