The most plyometric push ups in one minute is 11, and was achieved by Abe Matamoros (USA) in Houston, Texas, USA on 8 April 2022.

Abe has been an athlete his entire life and realized at a young age that his endurance and pound-for-pound strength were above average. This helped him stand out from other kids in athletic events and eventually led him to play soccer at a professional level and receive a scholarship to play division 1 college soccer. After Abe stopped playing soccer, he wanted to find ways to keep pushing his physical limits. He decided to start by training to break the world record for most plyometric push ups. Now that he has broken the record, he is looking for his next challenge
