The longest chain of shackles consists of 2,000 shackles, achieved by Junior Chamber International Korea Fukuoka (Japan), in Fukuoka, Fukuoka, Japan, on 23 October 2016.
The attempt took place in a local food festival called "Kamome no Grill" in Kamome Hiroba. Located right next to a harbor, many families and children participated in the attempt. The chain will be displayed in a park next to the attempt venue.
