Greatest jackpot payout for horse racing

The largest payout on a horse racing bet was £1.85 million (US$3 million) scooped by Scottish race horse owner Harry Findlay, over the British May Bank Holiday weekend 2007. Findlay, who lives near Bath in North Somerset, UK, had placed bets to tune of £140,000 with online pool betting firm RaceO. He ended up with 16 winners, comprising two eight-horse accumulators, to take home nearly £2 million.
