Most performers in a dance festival

The Festival de Dança de Joinville in Santa Catarina, Brazil, is the largest dance festival in the world. First produced in 1983, the festival is held over a minimum of 10 days and is attended by 4,000 national and international dancers from 140 amateur and professional dance groups, watched by more than 200,000 people annually.

Dance styles represented in the festival include classical repertoire ballet, classical ballet, contemporary dance, jazz, street dance, popular dance and tap dancing.
