The most Australian Rules Football (AFL) games played by an individual is 432 and was achieved by Brent Harvey (Australia, b.14 May 1978) playing for North Melbourne from 1 September 1996 to 10 September 2016.

Harvey had made his debut in Round 22 of the 1996 season aged 18 years 112 days.

On 30 July 2016, he surpassed the legendary Michael Tuck and took the record outright by making his 427th appearance.

Boomer (as Harvey is nicknamed) has run an estimated 7,300 km in his AFL career and has scored 518 goals, which is the second most at the club, behind Wayne Carey. He has achieved 1,689 marks and scored 334 behinds.
