The fastest ultra marathon distance in a non-racing wheelchair (female) is 5 hr 12 min and was achieved by Lexi Alyx Chambers (UK) in Sleaford, Lincolnshire, UK, on 13 August 2025.

Lexi attempted this record as part of a personal challenge to do 10 ultra distances in 10 days. She wanted to show people that you can do sport with what kit you have, so completed the entire journey in her everyday wheelchair.

Her moving time was 4 hr 45 min but she was held up by traffic several times during the attempt.

Lexi is a multiple record-holder and has previously achieved titles including the fastest half marathon in a non-racing front wheel wheelchair (female) and greatest distance covered in 12 hours by manual wheelchair (female).
