With 721 available cars from 90 marques – the largest number of manufacturers in a racing game – Gran Turismo 4 has the largest variety of cars. Creator Kazunori Yamauchi (Japan) reportedly wanted to rival that with its upcoming PlayStation 3 sequel, but demands of PS3 development made this impossible.
