For the purposes of this record, a bicycle is defined as a pedalled vehicle with two wheels, one behind the other, steered with handlebars attached to the front wheel. Bicycles powered by two or more people pedalling are monitored under longest tandem bicycle.
For the purpose of this record, only non motorised (i.e. human powered) bicycles) will be allowed. Motorbikes are monitored under a separate category.
