The fastest half marathon in a four-person costume is 1 hr 41 min 37 sec and was achieved by Anne Sophie Krog Pedersen, Martin Krog Nielsen, Alexander Cvitanich Haugsted and Asbjørn Krog Pedersen (all Denmark), in Aarhus, Denmark, on 12 June 2022.


The team state that their biggest challenge was constructing a costume that would stay put together for the entire distance.

The costume depicted a caterpillar and mainly consisted of fabric. Luckily, the weather stayed dry so the costume did manage to stay together!
